Greetings all.
We are Rod & Mavis the travellinkyds and are the very proud owners of Spin 34 delivered in June 2011 and displayed at the Brissy caravan and camping show this year.Our base is in Brisbane.
Our baby is heavily customised 18'6" shower van and we could not have done better than buying a Spinifex.
The shake down run was to Perth from Brissie and she performed beautifully over 15,000kms.
Fully loaded for Perth water tanks full we scaled in at 3540kg's with a ball weight of 280kg's. How good is that? At least we now know our limits.
Our tug is a 2002 100 series Toyota 4 speed auto, again heavily modified with DP chip and exhaust, increased capacity ARB suspension & shocks, long range fuel tank, snorkel, drawer system,rear wheel carrier, engel and 100ah AGM third battery with red arc smart charger also supplying the van via 135a Anderson plug, HF and UHF radios, Micky Thompsons, TJM bash plates under her,Hobi tandem fishing kayak on the roof with Gunyah awning.
